Store Currency
Store Currency
Your Store Currency is the currency used for product prices, fixed discounts, coupons, cart totals, and checkout eligibility. 3DIMLI supports USD and INR store pricing when your connected payment gateway supports the selected currency.
Where to change it
- Open your seller dashboard.
- Go to Settings -> Store.
- Find Store Currency.
- Select the available currency and review the conversion preview.
- Confirm only after checking the proposed prices.
The currencies shown depend on your active payment gateway and account eligibility. If INR is not available, connect an INR-compatible gateway first.
Gateway compatibility
| Active gateway | USD store | INR store |
|---|---|---|
| Razorpay or Razorpay Classic | Yes | Yes |
| PayU | Yes | Yes |
| Cashfree | Yes | Yes |
| PayPal, Stripe, Freedom Pay Classic, Octo, Paystack, or iyzico | Yes | No |
Gateway and provider availability still depends on your business country and approved merchant account. See Countries and Payment Methods.
Preview a currency switch
Changing the currency opens Preview currency switch. Nothing changes until you confirm.
The preview lets you review converted catalog prices and other fixed money amounts, including applicable fixed discounts and coupons. You can adjust the proposed values before applying the switch. Check important product prices carefully instead of treating the conversion as a pricing recommendation.
What happens after confirmation
- New storefront prices, eligible fixed discounts, coupons, carts, and checkouts use the selected store currency.
- Existing product amounts use the final values you approved in the preview.
- Historical orders keep the currency used when each buyer paid.
- Orders, reports, and analytics identify the actual paid currency rather than rewriting old sales into the new store currency.
Buyer conversion preview
When a buyer's payment currency differs from your store currency, checkout may show an estimated conversion preview. The payment provider controls the final converted amount, exchange rate, fees, and supported buyer payment methods.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | What to check |
|---|---|
| INR is not listed | Connect and activate Razorpay, Razorpay Classic, PayU, or Cashfree, then reload Store Settings. |
| Currency switch cannot be confirmed | Review every highlighted product, discount, or coupon amount and correct any invalid value. |
| Buyer sees a different final converted amount | The checkout preview is an estimate; the payment provider determines the final conversion. |
| Old order still shows USD after switching to INR | Expected. Historical orders preserve their original paid currency. |
