Pricing Options

Set different prices for each license type: offer free, fixed, or pay-what-you-want pricing.

On 3DIMLI, pricing is configured per license, not per product. This means you can offer the same product at different prices depending on how buyers want to use it.

3DIMLI License & Pricing Options

How License-Level Pricing Works

Instead of setting one price for your entire product, you set a price for each license you offer. This gives buyers flexibility to choose the license that fits their needs and budget.

Example: A 3D model could be priced as:

  • Standard License (personal/commercial use): $25
  • Commercial Redistribution (for resale in games/apps): $75
  • Editorial Use Only (news/education): Free

Each license has its own pricing settings: you control everything independently.

Available License Types

StandardMost buyersPersonal projects, client work, internal business use
Commercial RedistributionResellersGames, apps, NFTs, templates, merchandise
Editorial Use OnlyNon-commercialNews, education, journalism, research

See the full License Policy for detailed usage rights.

Pricing Modes

For each license, choose one of three pricing modes:

ModeDescriptionWhen to Use
FreeNo cost to buyersBuilding audience, promotional products, open-source
Fixed PriceBuyer pays exact amount you setStandard pricing, predictable revenue
Flexible PriceBuyer chooses amount within your limitsPay-what-you-want, maximize reach

  • Price: The exact amount buyers pay (in USD)

Flexible Price (Pay-What-You-Want)

Maximizing reach by letting buyers pay what they can afford

Let buyers choose how much they pay within your limits.

Offer Mode: Multiple vs Single License

You can control how licenses are presented to buyers:

ModeHow It Works
Multiple licensesAll licenses are shown on the product page. Buyers can purchase one license at a time, or buy multiple licenses together.
Single licenseOnly one license is available for purchase at a time.

Buying Multiple Licenses

When you offer multiple licenses, buyers can purchase more than one in a single transaction. The prices add up.

Example:

  • Standard License: $4
  • Commercial Redistribution: $10
  • Buyer purchases both → Total: $14

This is useful when a buyer needs both personal use rights AND commercial redistribution rights for the same product.

When to use Single License mode

Use single license mode when you want strict control over how your product is used, or when licenses are mutually exclusive (buyer should only need one).

Currency

All prices are in USD. 3DIMLI currently supports USD only.
