Link Products
Link Products
Sell access to any URL - from self-hosted files to membership areas, courses, and exclusive content.
A Link Product lets you sell access to something that already exists online. Instead of uploading files to 3DIMLI, you provide a URL that buyers receive after purchase. This gives you full control over hosting, access, and content updates.
What You Can Sell as Link Products
| Use Case | Examples |
|---|---|
| Self-hosted downloads | Google Drive files, Dropbox links, OneDrive folders, your own server downloads |
| Online courses | Teachable, Udemy, Skillshare, Gumroad courses, private video tutorials |
| Membership access | Discord servers, Slack workspaces, Telegram groups, private communities |
| Software & tools | License keys, SaaS access, plugin downloads, app subscriptions |
| Exclusive content | Private blog posts, premium newsletters, research reports, early access |
| Services | Consultation booking links, calendar scheduling, custom work portals |

How Link Delivery Works
- After purchase, the buyer receives the access link instantly.
- If your link requires a password or key, include it in your description or private message.
- You may update or change the destination URL anytime - buyers will always receive the latest version.
A Link Product doesn’t include downloads from 3DIMLI. Once the buyer pays, they get the link you provided. Managing what happens at that link (access, permissions, revoking, etc.) is up to you.
Best Practices
- Use short, trustworthy URLs.
- Add clear instructions if login or extra steps are required.
- Make hi-res preview images show what the buyer receives.
- Mention if your content updates over time.
Troubleshooting
- Link not opening: Check public access settings.
- Customer confusion: Add step-by-step instructions that a customer can eaisly follow.
- Low visibility: Improve tags, title, and SEO.
- Broken preview images: Re-upload optimized JPG/PNG/WebP files.
Quick Checklist
- Title, description, and category are set.

- Access link works correctly.
