Version Updates

When you purchase a product on 3DIMLI, you get access to that product's files through your Downloads page. If the seller updates the product files, your access is automatically updated as well.

For Buyers​

Automatic Access to Updates​

When a seller updates their product files:

  • Your Downloads page automatically reflects the update.
  • The Latest Version tag appears on the product card.
  • Clicking Download gives you the newest version.
  • No additional payment required.

How to Get the Latest Version​

  1. Go to your Downloads page.
  2. Look for the Latest Version tag.
  3. Click Download to get the updated file.

If you previously downloaded an older version, simply download again to get the update.

Need an Older Version?​

Downloads always provide the latest version. If you need an earlier version:

  • Check the product page for version information.
  • Contact the seller directly to request a specific version.
  • Sellers may provide older versions at their discretion.

For Sellers​

File Replacement Policy​

Important: When you replace a product's file, all previous buyers automatically get access to the new file.

How it works:

  1. You upload a new file to replace the existing one.
  2. All buyers who purchased your product can now download the new file.
  3. Their Downloads page shows the updated version.

Keeping Versions Separate​

If you don't want previous buyers to get an update, create a new product listing:

Example:

  • Original: "3D Character Model"
  • Updated: "3D Character Model v2"

This way:

  • Original buyers keep access to the original file only.
  • The new version requires a separate purchase.
  • You control who gets which version.
