Coupons

The Coupons page helps you create and manage coupon codes for your products on 3DIMLI.

Coupons let you give customers a code they can enter during checkout to receive a discount. You can use coupons for promotions, special offers, launch campaigns, loyal customers, or limited-time sales.

Where to Find Coupons

Go to:

Coupons tab in the 3DIMLI dashboard

Dashboard → My Product → Coupons

From here, you can view existing coupons or create a new one.

If you have not created any coupons yet, you will see an empty state with a Create Coupon button.

Create a New Coupon

Click Create Coupon to open the coupon creation form.

The form lets you define the coupon name, coupon code, discount amount, product targeting, visibility, duration, redemption limits, and minimum order value.

Name

Add a clear name for your coupon.

Example:

  • Store Coupon
  • Welcome Offer
  • Launch Coupon
  • Summer Sale Coupon
  • Returning Customer Coupon

This name may appear on your customer’s invoice, so use a clean and understandable name.

Code

Enter the coupon code customers will use at checkout.

Example:

  • WELCOME100
  • LAUNCH20
  • SAVE10
  • SUMMER25

Coupon codes should use uppercase letters and numbers only.

You can also use the generate icon to automatically create a coupon code.

Description

Add a short description explaining what the coupon is for.

Example:

10% off for new customers during the launch week.

The description helps you understand the purpose of the coupon later.

Amount

Set the coupon discount value.

You can choose between:

  • Percentage discount — Example: 10% off
  • Fixed amount discount — Example: $5 off

Use percentage discounts for flexible offers and fixed amount discounts when you want to reduce the order by a specific value.

Products

By default, a coupon can apply to all products.

To apply the coupon only to selected products, turn on:

Discount applies to specific products?

Then select the products where the coupon should be valid.

If this option is left turned off, the coupon applies to all eligible products.

Settings

The settings section controls how the coupon works.

Active

Turn this on to make the coupon live.

If this is turned off, customers will not be able to use the coupon at checkout.

Show in Store

Turn this on if you want the coupon to be visible in your store.

This does not affect whether the coupon is valid at checkout. It only controls whether customers can see it publicly in your store.

Coupon Duration

Turn this on to set a start and end date for the coupon.

Use this for:

  • Limited-time offers
  • Launch campaigns
  • Seasonal sales
  • Event-based promotions
  • Temporary customer rewards

If no duration is set, the coupon may remain active until you manually disable it.

Limit the Number of Redemptions

Turn this on if you want to limit how many times the coupon can be used.

The limit applies across all customers, not per customer.

Example:

If the redemption limit is set to 100, the coupon can be used 100 times in total.

Minimum Order Value

Turn this on if customers must spend a minimum amount before they can use the coupon.

Example:

If the minimum order value is set to $20, the coupon can only be used when the customer’s order total reaches $20 or more.

This is useful when you want to encourage larger purchases.

Save the Coupon

After filling in the coupon details, click Create Coupon.

Once created, the coupon will appear on the Coupons page where you can manage it later.

Coupons vs Discounts

Coupons and discounts both reduce the product price, but they work differently.

Coupons require the customer to enter a code at checkout.

Discounts can be applied directly based on the discount settings, without requiring a coupon code.

Use coupons when you want to share a specific promotional code with selected customers or audiences.

Use discounts when you want the offer to apply automatically or be managed as a store/product promotion.

Best Practices

Use short and easy-to-read coupon codes.

Use uppercase letters and numbers only.

Set a coupon duration for temporary campaigns.

Use redemption limits when running limited offers.

Use minimum order value when you want to encourage larger purchases.

Turn on Show in Store only when you want customers to see the coupon publicly.

Keep coupon names clear because they may appear on customer invoices.

Summary

  • Coupon code
  • Description
  • Percentage or fixed amount discount
  • Product targeting
