# Discounts

The **Discounts** page helps you create and manage special offers for your products on 3DIMLI.

You can use discounts to promote new products, run launch offers, create bundle deals, or give customers a limited-time price reduction.

## Where to Find Discounts

Go to:

![Discounts tab in the 3DIMLI dashboard](https://media.3dimli.com/3DIMLI-Images/docs/Dashboard/Discounts_Tab.avif)

**Dashboard → My Product → Discounts**

From here, you can view existing discounts or create a new one.

If you have not created any discounts yet, you will see an empty state with a **Create Discount** button.

## Create a New Discount

Click **Create Discount** to open the discount creation form.

The form lets you define the discount type, amount, products, visibility, duration, and redemption limits.

## Discount Scenario

The **Discount Scenario** controls what type of discount strategy you want to create.

Available options may include:

- **Standard Discount** — Use this for regular product discounts.
- **Early Bird / Launch** — Use this for new product launches or limited-time early offers.
- **Bundle Discount** — Use this when offering a discount connected to grouped or bundled products.

Choose the option that best matches your discount campaign.

## Name

Add a clear name for your discount.

Example:

- Launch Offer
- Summer Sale
- 20% Off 3D Models
- Bundle Discount

The name helps you identify the discount inside your seller dashboard.

## Description

Add a short description explaining the purpose of the discount.

Example:

> Limited-time launch offer for selected products.

The description is useful for internal clarity and store presentation when the discount is shown publicly.

## Amount

Set the discount value.

You can choose between:

- **Percentage discount** — Example: 10% off
- **Fixed amount discount** — Example: $5 off

A **100% discount** requires a discount duration with both a start and end date.

## Products

By default, a discount can apply to all products.

To apply the discount only to selected products, turn on:

**Discount applies to specific products?**

Then choose the product or products where the discount should be applied.

If this option is left turned off, the discount applies to all eligible products.

## Settings

The settings section controls how the discount behaves.

### Active

Turn this on to make the discount live.

If this is turned off, the discount will not be applied even if the discount details are saved.

### Show in Store

Turn this on if you want the discount to be visible in your store.

This only controls store visibility. It does not change whether the discount can apply at checkout.

### Discount Duration

Turn this on to set a start and end date for the discount.

Use this when running:

- Launch offers
- Seasonal sales
- Limited-time promotions
- 100% discounts

If no duration is set, the discount may remain active until you manually disable it.

### Limit the Number of Redemptions

Turn this on if you want to limit how many times the discount can be used.

The limit applies across all customers, not per customer.

Example:

If the limit is set to 50, the discount can be redeemed 50 times in total.

## Save the Discount

After filling in the details, click **Create Discount**.

Once created, the discount will appear on the Discounts page where you can manage it later.

## Best Practices

Use clear names so you can easily identify discounts later.

Set a duration for temporary campaigns so discounts do not stay active longer than planned.

Use product-specific discounts when you only want to promote selected products.

Turn on **Show in Store** only when you want customers to see the offer publicly.

Review the discount amount carefully before activating it, especially for large discounts or 100% offers.

## Summary

The Discounts page gives sellers a simple way to create promotional offers for their 3DIMLI products.

You can control:

- Discount type
- Discount name and description
- Percentage or fixed amount
- Product targeting
- Active status
- Store visibility
- Start and end date
- Total redemption limit

This helps you run flexible promotions while keeping control over how and where each discount is applied.
