Overview
Generative AI is changing how digital content is created.
3DIMLI supports responsible and transparent use of AI, while protecting creators, buyers, and intellectual property.
This documentation explains:
- What AI usage is allowed on 3DIMLI
- What is restricted or prohibited
- How AI rules apply differently to each product type
Our goal is to ensure fair commerce, originality, and legal clarity across the platform.
Common Principles (Applies to All Products)
Before looking at individual product categories, the following rules apply to everything sold on 3DIMLI.
1. AI Assistance Is Allowed: With Responsibility
Sellers may use Generative AI as a tool, not a shortcut.
AI can assist with:
- Ideation and references
- Draft creation
- Workflow acceleration
But the final product must:
- Include meaningful human work
- Be legally sellable
- Not infringe on third-party rights
2. Disclosure Is Mandatory
If a product is partially or fully AI-generated, sellers must clearly disclose this in the product listing.
Transparency builds trust and helps buyers make informed decisions.
3. No AI Training Rights by Default
Products sold on 3DIMLI cannot be used to train AI models unless explicitly stated.
This includes:
- Training
- Fine-tuning
- Dataset creation
- Model evaluation
Standard licenses do not include AI training rights.
4. Prohibited AI Use (Global)
The following are not allowed for any product type:
- AI outputs trained on copyrighted material without rights
- Content imitating real brands, characters, or trademarks
- Raw or unmodified AI outputs sold as original work
- Use of platform assets for AI dataset creation
Violations may lead to content removal or account action.
Product-Specific AI Rules
1. 3D Models
Allowed
- AI-assisted base meshes or blockouts
- AI-generated references or concepts
- AI-assisted textures with manual refinement
Required
- Significant manual modeling, cleanup, topology, UVs, and optimization
- Clear disclosure if AI was used
Not Allowed
- Selling raw AI-generated meshes
- Uploading models copied from copyrighted IP
- Using purchased 3D models to train AI systems
2. Audio (Music, SFX, Voice)
Allowed
- AI-assisted sound generation with post-processing
- AI-assisted voice drafts with human editing
- AI tools for noise removal or enhancement
Required
- Rights to all generated audio
- Disclosure of AI usage
Not Allowed
- AI voices impersonating real people
- Audio trained on copyrighted datasets without permission
- Using purchased audio files to train AI models
3. Graphics (Images, Textures, Illustrations)
Allowed
- AI-generated images used as a base
- AI-assisted texture creation with manual correction
- Hybrid workflows combining AI and human design
Required
- Manual editing, refinement, or compositing
- Disclosure if AI was used
Not Allowed
- Unedited AI images sold as final products
- Replication of copyrighted styles or brands
- Using purchased graphics to train AI models
4. E-Books & Written Content
Allowed
- AI-assisted drafting or outlining
- Grammar, summarization, or structure assistance
Required
- Human-written, reviewed, and edited content
- Accuracy and originality
- Disclosure of AI assistance
Not Allowed
- Fully auto-generated books without human authorship
- Plagiarized or scraped AI content
- Using purchased e-books to train AI models
5. Link Products
(Link-based products that point to external resources)
Allowed
- AI-generated tools, apps, or resources
- AI-assisted documentation or interfaces
Required
- Clear description of what the link provides
- Ownership or rights to the linked content
- Disclosure of AI usage where applicable
Not Allowed
- Links to AI datasets built from scraped content
- Links that enable unauthorized AI training
- Misleading or unsafe AI tools
Platform Use of AI (3DIMLI)
3DIMLI may use AI internally for:
- Moderation and fraud prevention
- Search and recommendations
- Quality checks
Seller content is not used for public AI training.
Enforcement
3DIMLI reserves the right to:
- Review AI-related disclosures
- Remove content that violates this policy
- Suspend or terminate accounts for repeated violations
Users may report suspected AI misuse through platform support tools.
