# Add Interactive 3D with 3DBAE

Give buyers a closer look at your work by adding an interactive 3D experience to a 3D Model or Digital product page. The viewer sits alongside your images and videos in the product gallery.

## Before you start

- Create an account on [3dbae.com](https://3dbae.com).
- Upload your model and publish its viewer.
- Copy the published viewer URL from 3DBAE.

## Add the viewer to your product

1. Create or edit a **3D Model** or **Digital** product in 3DIMLI.
2. Go to **Product Media**.
3. Paste your published 3DBAE viewer URL in the media-link field.
4. Select **+ Add**.
5. Save your product.

The viewer is added to the same sortable gallery as your images and videos. Drag it into the position you want, or set it as the main media.

## Main media and product thumbnails

If an interactive 3D viewer is your main media, 3DIMLI uses the next image in the gallery where a static thumbnail is needed, such as product cards and previews. Keep a strong product image immediately after the viewer in the media order.

## Limits

- A product gallery can contain up to **20** media items in total.
- Images, videos, and interactive 3D all count toward that total.
- Add one 3DBAE viewer per product or variant.

## Tips

- Publish the viewer in 3DBAE before copying its link.
- Use a clear cover image so your product still looks great anywhere a static image is shown.
- Put the viewer first when it is the best way to understand your product; otherwise, place it after your key images.

## Troubleshooting

### The viewer will not add

Make sure you copied a published 3DBAE viewer URL, not a private project or dashboard link.

### The wrong thumbnail appears

Reorder your gallery so the image you want used as the thumbnail comes immediately after the interactive 3D viewer.
